What happens next?
If you are interested in meeting me and seeing more of my work, please feel free to contact me via telephone or email. I can arrange to meet you at home and discuss your requirements further, giving you a quote for capturing your special day. If you are happy with the quote and wish to make a booking, you will need to return a signed contract to myself, along with a 20% deposit. This will reserve your chosen date. The balance of payment is due 14 days before the date of the wedding.
As your photographer, I am at your disposal during the day. I can orchestrate or take a back seat depending on the style and direction your require. I am happy to photograph any group shots or formal photos of the pair of you and your guests; we can be as adventurous or formal as you require. I will try and make the day go as smoothly as possible to allow you to enjoy your special day. I like to arrive half an hour before the allotted time you decide, to make sure every thing is in order.
What comes with the basic package?
A selection of 6”x4” prints of the edited photos, so you have something to look at and move around while planning an album or prints
Online gallery of images taken during the day to allow you to share the pictures with your friends and family and to order extra prints.
Disc of low resolution images all edited, for sharing via email, social networking sites, etc.
Low resolution out-takes of everything I shoot on the day in case I miss anyone important or any photos you really like in the edit. Just drop me an email with the file numbers of the ones you’d like to see edited and I’ll send back a full resolution edited version.
In addition, I can organise albums, framed prints, parent’s albums, photobooks, in fact€ pretty much anything you can think of. Please don’t be afraid to ask me.
How long will it take to receive the photos?
It normally takes two to three weeks or so to finish editing the pictures. I normally have them ready for when you return from honeymoon!
When the final images are collated, I will contact you to tell you they’re ready and we can arrange to meet to view the images. I usually like to do it this way, so I know you are happy with the final result, however, I can post them if it is easier for you.
I will also setup your online gallery which is password protected to allow you to view the photographs. There will be a slideshow for you to view which is a nice touch for friends who could not make the day. You also have the option to order additional prints and get them delivered directly to you by using this service.
Albums may take a little longer, due to the planning, design and construction that goes into them.
What if you cannot attend on the day?
I will do everything in my power to be there on your special day. However, if unforeseen circumstances do arise, I have a back up list of professional photographers to cover my absence should the need arrive. I have not had a day off sick in the last five years, and don’t intend to either! However, it is better to be prepared and peace of mind for my clients.
How far do you travel to weddings?
I have recently traveled as far as Poland and North Wales If you can get me there, I’m happy to be there.
Do you have insurance?
I have both Public Liability and Personal Indemnity insurance. Both are a must for wedding photographers, and I can provide copies of my certificates if you require them.
Do you use a contract?
Yes, I will require you to sign a contract This is for the benefit of you as a customer and myself as a photographer - It protects both parties.
I will give you a copy at our first meeting which you can take away and read, and if you are happy sign and return it along with the deposit.
